Where in the store can I buy these 'Mechs? I really hope they can be bought with C-bills, and aren't locked behind cash. I was looking forward to doing 3 challenges this time around...

Well... That stinks. Why are they even showing the event if it's locked behind a paywall.

Why, promoting the purchases. Game is f2p, newbies can have fun with c-bill mechs and veterans already have good collection. So they need some way to advertise money spending. Understandable, as long as free part of the game stays decent and comparable (as is, non-p2w and with events having normal part).

Because the event is aimed at the early adopters of the mech. They've been doing those for close to a decade now, bruh.
