Port over to Mac OS please?

I have been waiting so long for this game to be available only to find that its Windows-only, please port this to Mac so i can play!!

Unfortunately Microsoft owns the video game rights and PGI is just leasing from them. Because of this I don't think you'll ever see a native OSX/Linux Mechwarrior any time soon.

More of an issue would be the DirectX vs OpenGL... You can install windows OS on your mac and dual boot (meaning boot into windows or OS X) using bootcamp.

CryEngine can use an OpenGL renderer, but unfortunately not the old version MWO is using.

this games seems a bit better now, but am looking forward more to BATTLETECH (which was confirmed Linux / Mac support from the start)

The devs can barely code for Windows, what makes you think they could manage a distribution for a second OS?

Am pretty sure codeweavers (a more polished version of WINE) also runs on mac

Anyway am not planning or wasting time running this game in either my Mac or Linux/SteamOS boxes, since MSFT has specifically Banned porting this game to other platforms.
