Welcome Mechwarriors!

New players, or veteran looking for a home to drop in some matches, we the Golden Foxes a mercenary unit are recruiting. We are at our base are a casual based group, that has 2 drop nights on tuesdays and thursdays. This can range from either regular drops to community warfare which is a place to fight for territory and planets. We have players on most nights and are open to help players with builds, or any questions regarding the game or just to group up with some stompy mechs and play the game.

I played with these guys for close to two years. They were my first unit, and got me up and running perfectly! I made some friends there who I still speak with daily playing other games. Great people with a casual atmosphere. If you're good, but don't want to be in "tryhard mode" all the time, or if you're just a weekend warrior, or even if you're deeply into the game and just couldn't hit the broad side of an Atlas, the foxes are more about camaraderie than nightly practice and taking home competitive trophies.

I left them to join said competitive tryhards, but in-between I played with dozens of different MWO units and communities. Out of all of them, the foxes were the best, friendliest people.

So, you new, Tier 5 Steam people who are wondering why there are discussion topics implying the game has already been out for a while! Join up with Golden Foxes. This game's been running for a couple years now, and Foxes have been around for the vast majority of that time playing stompy robots for fun.

I am part of the unit, and i agree they are a laid back and relax unit. We group up almost daily with whoever is on and just have fun. they help make the game fun, and have fun legging our teamates in private matches.
