i love it, but as i said, you´ll have to figure out the settings that arent TOO slow in normal vision vs too sensitive in advanced zoom---
((as reference,i have mine on about 1/3 plus my mouse at halfed dpi (800/1600) most of the time ... )) works for me, can´t speak for everyone though :)
there's nothing to improve, you are aiming significantly further than normal so it will be more sensitive. either adjust your mouse to a comfortable midground, or if it can be changed during games, then set up lower and higher speeds.
If you try to hit mech with 6 medium lasers at 400 meters you will hit 3 different parts . With advance zoom I can put all damage into 1 part . It makes hell of a difference . Just need some skill to use it .
ACtually, this is only partially correct. If you fire all at the same time you will get all 6 pinpointed on one spot and they will drag as one across other spots for the duration of the shot. This is one of the enduring broken mechanics of MWO and why the current laser-fest is so popular.
Actually, you are only partially correct. If your target is very, very close, then convergence doesn't actually happen with weapons located on opposite arms or other distant arrangements.
LOL. Yes, that outlier case may be true...but doesn't change my point for the majority of cases.
And woe be unto your back if your teammate in the King Crab slightly behind you zooms in to take his shots.
So true. I also especially like the teammates who dash in front of your shot because "muh kilz!" and you accidentally alpha t hem in the back...
