MechWarrior Online
Bushwacker?
I remember a Mech called Bushwacker in the game where you control groups of mechs. Will this game get it eventually?

You can actually install Mechcommander on your PC... if you still have the install CD, copy the entire contents to your harddrive and run the exe file. Done! No install needed... may need to "Run as Admin" in some cases on Win x64 OS.

You don't even need the CD any more, the ISO is freely available for both MC1 and 2, and MC2 source was made publicly available. I have the first one installed on my Win 7 machine right now and it only takes a little fiddling to get it to work correctly.

Well... I still have all my Mechcommander and MechWarrior install discs lol :) so I don't rely on the freeware available online.

The only thing I would recommend with Mechcommander is to adjust your Mouse DPI level down from it's normal, otherwise scrolling can be a bit "fast" lol
You also start MechWarrior 3 in a Bushwacker and technically control a lance eventually, even if you can only give a few "orders" (read "suggestions") to your lance-mates.

lol wow I totally spaced on that... and I loved MW3 and the Pirate's Moon expansion.

The OP was likely referring to MechCommander2 which starts you off with two Bushwackers and a Light Mech I can't exactly remember of the name of.

Razorback. It's a Steiner produced 30 tonner introduced in 3063.

It's their adherence to the BattleTech timeline - the Uziel didn't hit full production until 3065 (about a decade ahead of when MWO is supposed to be, which is somewhere around 3052-53 thereabouts) and the Hauptmann went into production in 3060.
Yeah, I have fond memories of the Bushwacker because of MechWarrior 3, too. Maybe someday we'll see it and other IS Omnis. Someday...
