Weapon groups no longer saving

This is a very irritating bug. For the last few days, my weapon groups won't save. I'll change them in mechlab, make sure I save, go into game, not saved. I change them in game, finish game, launch with same mech again....not saved. So I have to change my weapon groups each time I launch a mech that has been updated. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and verified my files. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I believe they save to your profile file, is there something making it not create that? Can you create one yourself with a notepad file?

I'm no expert I am comment to bump it to find an expert.

Uninstalling the game doesn't remove your profile settings in %HOMEPATH%\Saved Games\MechWarrior Online\Profiles\<profile name>\ . Try deleting weapongroups.xml

nope, that is not a good idea. thankfully the file was still in my trashcan and was able to be restored. all my mechs went away.

well, if you change a weapon out it'll resent yer weapon groups.
