Forget about the LRM20.. the Misery only has a 6 slot missile hardpoint. That means anything other than a LRM5 will come out in waves.

How about this instead: MISERY[mwo.smurfy-net.de]

Or a little cooler: MISERY[mwo.smurfy-net.de]

And i'd use regular Large Lasers instead of ER LL, unless you plan to go into community Warfare with it. Reason: Large Lasers gel better with the AC/10 and have a shorter Burn Duration.

Yeah, I don't like to follow builds everyone uses. LRM20 on my Misery is working really well. Just have to wait for solid team locks.

Back when the Hunckback 4P wasn't updated you were able to stuff 2 LBX10s inside the hunch and they would fire out of the same barrel stacked on top of each other like a genuine LBX20. It scared the sheet out of pilots to hear that sonic boom going off then realize they lost a limb.

Visually the misery has 12 missile ports.

You might consider an Artemis LRM 15 instead. The reduced lock on time will make it more useful to your otherwise direct fire role. Drop a half ton of ammo and put a Beagle Probe and an extra heat sink in as well.

I don't like making the Stalker into a brawler just because it doesn't turn very fast and has no lower arm actuators. It's fine for putting fire downrange, but against circling lights... less so.

Close range combat only works when in a group that is activily pushing with you imo. Going with 2 er ll and lrm20 seems better to me tho. Rounds you out when you have 2 medium l, and an ac10. In this build you still need to have a group with you tho as the heat is going to gimp you in 3-4 volleys.

the misery's best strength is its a STALKER with the ability to take an ac20. NEVER XL YOUR STALKER.

I don't see a point of LRM 20 . Misery has no bonuses for Missiles . Also Stalker as a mech is best used as poker do to high weapon locations . Pop more DHS and just use cover in cover out tactics .

You pretty close to what I use . Just that LRM 20 which probably just makes it harder for you to commit to a certain role .

Stalkers are usually Laser Vomits . Misery should be played like such with slightly better brawling do to 1 canon . However full LPL+ERL builds are better at range and have more DHS

3 ERL + 2 Mediums + Canon of your Choice + 1 AMS . You may have to tweak engine up and down . I prefer AC10 but you can do ok with LBX10,AC20,Gauss .

3 ERL + 1 Large Lasers + 1 Canon of your choices + 1 AMS . Also ok .

2 ERL + 3 LPL - Easy build for anyone who does not want to work for damage . Other Laser bonus Stalkers are better for it though .

Figured it had to be to fit all that and go top speed, you arent going slower than 63 are you? if you are, yet another mistake.
