anime about mechs?
Please don't say gundam, macross, neogenesis, or any other giant robots. List anime that maybe only has very small mechs, kinda like power armor suits.

Ah such nostalgia...such good times. But that's not anime...it's (western) animation.

on of the things that i didn't see in these list is gurren lagan (I might od spelled it wrong), it has mechs in it.
Yeah, he said 'little' robots, and I find it hard to argue that Gurren Lagann fits that description when the mecha are the size of planets and galaxies XD
I don't get what people enjoy about Anime, sure 80's Anime was great but this modern stuff is terrible.

Have you ever seen death note, darker than black, Hellsing ultimate, attack on titan, monster, berserk, Gantz?

You don't have to. Nobody forces you to participate and its existence in the universe does not influence you in any way, shape or form.
Does anyone remember Exo Squad? :steamhappy: that was a favorite to watch when I was a kid... and the BattleTech cartoon despite how cheesy it was lmfao

What about... Go-Bots?!?

Zoids was really cool growing up. The Zoids 2 was better tho.
Infinite Stratos isn't to bad :steamhappy:
Pretty much everything has been covered. Kind of a niche part of mecha. Not entirely sure why you would avoid the "Giant Robot" shows because there are plenty of fantastic series.

One I didn't see listed yet (might have missed it) would be:

- Heroic Age. Closer to suits than mecha, but not really either as they just transform. More monster than Mech probably. Big space battles. Great mythology and OST (although repetitive at times) Probably too big for what you're looking for, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

- Sidonia no Kishi (Knights of Sidonia) is pretty good. More around Mobile Suit Gundam size. If you don't like CGI then you probably won't enjoy it. It's hit-or-miss for people really. Good concept, pretty brutal. Check it out on Netflix!

- Blue Gender was alright. Glad I watched it, but MAN does it have its flaws. This one is closer to Metal Panic in size. Another Humans vs. Bugs. Like Starship Troopers.

- Bakuretsu Tenshi (Burst angel). Another one I sort of felt *meh* about. Again, some interesting stuff, fun times, but overall severely lacking. Some unique stuff, but man... the plot and characters... so bad. Whatever you do... don't touch the dub with a 10ft pole... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

- FLCL very strange show. Highly recommended overall despite its weirdness. One hell of a ride. Some unique mecha action and concepts.

- Suisei no Gargantia was alright. Little big though

- Escaflowne is another bigger style. Older. It was a classic for me.

- RideBack isn't really a mecha, it's kind of like a vehicle, like a motorcycle. Really unique and fun show though. Very different and exciting visuals.

again, probably not what you're looking for in terms of "suit" size. But these are more general mecha stand alone series that you might consider that weren't listed already. Some better than others...

Sure, there are plenty of modern shows with good stories that are unique, original and animation that is just incredible. When a studio puts something quality together now days... just WOW. Sakuga in Redline for example... just jaw-dropping.

But you have to admit there is A LOT of ♥♥♥♥ moe highschool filth that comes out compared to back then. And repeating concepts. There are definitely exceptions, but man, there are some terrible shows. "Terrible" that is, if you don't enjoy that stuff and only like more "adult" and mature series

Its not Anime but since you asking in MWO forums you can always watch Battletech . Its a bit dated but in a good way . I enjoyed the short series .

Some mechs actually should have melee weapons that this game just avoided .

That would be pretty funny to hit mechs with axes in MWO XD

They should have weapons, period. Wolverine and Griffin for example do not have "fists of power", but actually carry Mech sized weapons, which allows them to even change the hand they are using them in, or drop them, to go into melee combat.

What would i give for a proper Battletech game... but without a full body suit, i do not see the possibility for proper inputs, to realize that. (Its one of my main gripes that we see our pilots use a joystick to pilot their mechs.)
