Dead Game?

just curious if the game is dead as im interested in giving it another shot, but steam charts claim it has <1000 players. is it still semi-populated for quickplay?

I play most nights. It's my favorite game. Outside of a recent hilarious bug that set some people server selection to Oceanic-Only, I haven't heard of anyone taking more than 2 minutes to get drops.

Their standalone launcher dilutes the actual player count.

Wish the Dev's would finally merge everyone to Steam, it would prevent this common misconception.

The game is a bit low population but you get games fast enough and it's always active

Tbh, I never had problems with finding a match. Game have a really small community I believe but, trust me, they're very devoted It's work very well as a "multiplayer module" for Mechwarrior 5.

if only the almighty and always right GM moderation team didnt ban from 10 to 20% of the playerbase across 8 years there would be more people playing
but hey god forbid someone says the punishment they give out is unfair
how they are still allowed to do this is beyond me
in any case thanks to them PGI will never ever get a single more cent from me, nor for Mechwarrior 5 or any other game they will ever make
they can go rot under a bridge begging for spare change for all I care

they banned a closed beta player that had spent thousands on the game for greeting people with 'Hello ladies' at the start of the match in all chat
he did not violate any ToS of any kind whatsoever yet he got his account perma'd anyway
go look for this news on Outreach HPG I bet it is still there archived

I know that story, do you? I mean, the full story. But you are moving the goal post. I was only asking for a source for

As tier 1 in euro time zone, in the evening I am looking for a match on average from instant, to about 5 minutes. I usually constantly see allmost same bunch of people from match to match.

Recently I had free day in middle of the week and tried to play in the morning and just gave up when i was waiting 10-15 minutes for a match.

not dead. plenty of players for quickplay. i allways under a minute to find a game.

set video settings to very high

Only needs 24 players for a match and there are many many multiples of that you will always find a game at any time day or night and as it is free what are you worried about?
