Smurfy's Mechlab
Is Smurfy's Mechlab gone? I can't seem to find it/access it.

Smurfy's became utterly outdated a while back. Shift to MechDB.

Takes a little bit of getting used to, but has a lot more going for it than Smurfy's.

So many old guides have links to smurfy's, which now are completely useless :(

Same applies for those guides, most likely

Well generic information on how, say, play light mech was still not bad, its just that any proposed builds there are now totally gone. Not good if I want to get some build to start with

Head on over to Grimmechs, they have a database with tons of builds.

That's a useful database, thank you. And mechlab it has links to is operational... tho sadly it's not working properly on mobile devices (basically only allows to view what modules are installed, not toy with them nor check their stats or mech resulting stats)

Any mech build that is old enough to have used Smurfy links would most likely be outdated.
