Anyone got a build for Mist Lynx?

Everything i find is old posts about it being a bad mech and outdated builds but i really wanna use this mech.

I do.

It's quite advanced, though.

1) go to your inventory.
2) find the mist lynx.
3) select it.
4) sell it.
5) collect the roughly 1.5 million c-bills.
6) buy a better mech.

-First try the trial mech, which is probably the best of the lot. Which doesn't say much about it...
-AC side, *maybe* you can put something AC2 related together. Which would be basically the only weapon you would have on there.
-You could throw a couple SRM4's, possibly 6's with a supporting laser (or not) on. Jenner IIC and probably other clan lights that don't come to mind do missiles better.
-You could put an ERLL or a LPL onto one of the arms.
-ECM should be a perk... but it draws off any decent firepower. With it you could put (a few) missiles on, nothing beyond machine guns ballistic side, and most likely a large laser w/a smaller supporting laser.

You could make a few fun builds out of it, but don't expect anything that would compete well up close against almost any other mech in a fair even fight.

There's absolutely nothing you can do with this robot.

It's by far worse than even the vindicator, and the vindicator is little more than a joke. So we cut 20 tons off the vindicator, we put all the hardpoints in the arms, make the arms bigger than the ones on the vindicator, and now we bolt on about 7 tons of hardwired equipment, force a tiny engine on there, and take up half the free crit space with external dubs...

We have no idea why they added this robot to the game in the first place. Just sell it. You're not gonna save it, and all you'll be doing is giving yourself a headache.

Just got my mist lynx champion today from the event, with 3 ER small and 1 medium pulse it has a 23 damage alpha it can fire all day long. Only had a chance to drop once with it so far but racked up 2 kmdd and almost 500 dmg, dont write off the mech, write off the pilot. So it isnt the best chassis available, if we only played the "best" available mech this would be a pretty boring game, not saying to pack illogical loadouts but have fun however you want.

Now just imagine your score if you had a better mech.

I mean the Artic Cheetah has more armor, more firepower, more speed all at once while keeping the ECM and jump jets and gaining the ability to have some torso hardpoints that are up high. (as a side note, in lore the ACH was built to replace the MLX)

In the case of the Mist Lynx its not just not picking the best mech, you are actively picking the worst mech in the game when you use it.

What he said. And buy a Locust. The 5 medium laser one. You will have a lot of fun in it. Or you will get cored/blown in 1 shot. But still fun to play. And better than that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ clan mech.

Srsly tho,the Lynx sucks as.s. Not the same kind of a.ss that a Kit Fox would prefer, but close enough. Buy a better one. ACH does everything better. Use one if you prefer the clans.

At least a Kit Fox has pod space and a decent ECM omnipod compared to that MLX, sorta a lighter Adder that trades 5 tons for the ability to use ECM.

i would have taken a similar approach...strip it, use the parts for something else... but that´s for the (I) variant of course... for all others, i´d go with yours :)
