C-Gauss rifle instant shot
When i try to use gauss, i must hold the LMB, its "charges", then release button. Shot. It's difficult.

When i was a dead spectator, i saw that man got instant gauss shot, then he goes to cool down.
How can i do the same?

probably just charging as he moves?

As a spectator, you won't hear or notice the charge-up. Therefore it seems that the shot is instant. You can't avoid the charge-up mechanic while using gauss rifles.

As a spectrator, i can see a cool down line. And i must see a charging line. I don't see a charging line.
So there is a method to instant shot.

Sigh... if you say so... but I tell you, you neither see a charge up indicator, nor hear the sound.

There is not.

I wonder does the Gauss need to be hold for a full Omega Strike ?

Once its charged, holding the charge longer does not increase the damage.

No. Holding it too long winds down the charge.

*** What effect does chain fire upon gauss weapons? ***
Battleseed Apr 23, 2018 @ 12:13pm
This is as bad as people claiming they lost a match because the other team was using macro's to shorten weapon cycle times. /cringe
Xilo The Odd Apr 23, 2018 @ 4:42pm
im sure people use firing macros for their gauss too.
people will whine macros are unfair.
macros are allowed in many professional tournaments for games including dota.
get over it or join in and you've achieved balance.

Macro has zero ability to shorten the cycle times. If it takes 1s before the weapon can fire again, having a macro fire every .5s does not make it shoot faster than the 1s it is capable of. Using a macro to chain fire, sure. That is where it shines.

This is not what those people were harping on about. They thought the macro was allowing a weapon to fire before the cycle time was up, hence cheating, which is completly ignorant. Same as the OP thinking a guass can be fired with no charge~

im sayin it takes the human element for the release of the trigger, allowing one to reach the shortest possible firing time for each shot and starting its cooldown as soon as possible to get the most out of its DPS potential.

i get what the thread is about, but that aspect has already been answered. spectators cannot see charge gauges for it.
