The Marauder and Warhammer, could possibly use it, but I think they are going to be better with the upcoming UACs. and the LBXs.
If you have good battlefield awareness, the RAC will be a decent weapon. If you don't... well...
IS UAC 10 is the real deal here guys.
Mechs where there is only enough space for a single RotaryAC are good. Shadowhawk, Bushwhacker, and on on.
I had a great time with a RAC5 on my Bushwhacker, pounding away at their face in between MRM and laser salvos.
It's a great suppression and armor melting weapon, which is what autocannons are to me.
dragon will be best Rotary mech.
the enforcer 5P might not be bad either, the one with the UAC quirks. 1 rotary on each arm and your a medium.
ammo or speed might be an issue but soo much dakka from a tiny thing.
i shoulda rigged up my tempest with it.
I had little or no heat problems with my single RAC5s. I was able to push them pretty hard with minimal jamming and heat.
MRM20 + RAC5 + SSRM6 + 2 ER ML on my bushwhacker never even HAD heat problems.
Crap range.
6 space each, not even KG has enough space in an arm for 2.
Plus each rotary does too much heat for this to be a good idea.
