Laser AMS and targeting computer

Does this affect it's range at all? Curious to know since it only specifies "lasers" in the description.

I don't think it does since it refers to the weapon class since L-AMS are AMS's I don't think they count for the TC

Well it's pretty simple, does the range of the AMS in game change? does the 90m change to something else.

Not telling you something you can look for.

AMS is in a category of its own sadly so no it doesnt get affected by TC.

it might be affected by general range quirks but i honestly havnt noticed myself. and there are mechs with range quirks specifically for AMS.

Lol I saw someone one match run 3 of them on I think it was frozen city overheated constantly but still managed to live till the end of the match somehow.

I know so many times i've thought i'll try laser ams and then see my heat and go nope lol

It works if you toggle it but you have to be mindful cause its easy to accidentally leave it on, I usually only turn it on if I see the missile warning if I'm using a mech with L-AMS anyways which I rarely do.

Laser AMS is actually a pretty good addition to heatless builds such as gauss or LBX. You might as well use your heat for something.
