If you really think about it, the Cyclops isn't much more capable than a heavy mech in the firepower department. However, it's really good at close range and supporting a hearty push on the enemy. Honestly, I have more firepower in my Roughneck and have just about as much armor and structure. The clops needs a buff, IMO. They nerfed it into the ground.
I play it since yesterday with normal build xD but ... my Thanatos was better so i thinking , Hmm need a better build.
and the RAC´s make good Dmg?
never have test it with 2x RAC5 and 2 RAC2 .. have on my Roughneck 3x RAC2 /1 PPC and 1 20 Rockets
RACs need to long before they start doing damage. The wind-up means you will miss out on damage a lot of the time.
They do okay damage once they are firing, but the problem is that they take to long to start firing.
RACs (I think) are the best ballistic weapon out there. They make your enemy go "oh s***" and turn tail. On the otherhand going 4+LBX2, 2+UAC10, or loading up 2 gauss riles (for sniping) make for good ballistic combos. I love RACs, though. As long as you manage the heat on them and skill for them, then you can do A LOT of damage. Heat managment is really important too. Gotta make sure you're at least in the 1.1 range or better if you got other weapons on board. Even then, keep a coolshot handy.
no not trolling, its hillarious how well it does.
Wrong.
You should always know what you're going into before you fire your weapons, which means you should always ramp your RACs up before popping around a corner. "ok damage" is an understatement. Being able to do 15-20 damage PER SECOND is devistating.
Yessiree. If you're ever looking for a Unit to join and you're not a sensitive puss puss (like a lot of the high society figures on this board), the 502nd Panzer Regiment is open.
