Controller support out now! (new update)
Get the latest update and try it out <3
If it doesn't work here is what you can do.
You need to DISABLE steam input, there are two options:

You can click on the small controller icon on the right in your library:

Or you can right click Bongo Cat -> Properties -> Controller
and disable it there.

Thanks for adding support for controllers. That's a big plus for me.
After the update, the cat does not show up in games that run in full screen mode.

what game? and do you play in fullscreen borderless or fullscreen? because fullscreen shouldn't work in the first place

TEKKEN 8, Horizon Zero Dawn games worked with the cat in fullscreen mode until yesterday's update. Now only in borderless fullscreen mode.

Does this allow bongo cat to capture gamepad presses while in other games and treat them like key strokes and mouse clicks? I was able to use the gamepad in the settings menu, but the counter didn't seem to go up.

EDIT: Nevermind, it's totally registering gamepad presses as bongo taps! Thanks for this wonderful piece of software!

I appreciate the new feature but it seems to be buggy sometimes? Yesterday I worked perfectly fine while I was playing MH Wilds, but today it only registers controller inputs when I am actually tabbed into the Bongo Cat application. I tried doing as recommended (disabling steam input), but it didn't seem to change the issue. I also tried rebooting steam.

Поддержка контроллера GameSir T3 идет только в случае если открыто окно Bongo Cat, в других случаях клики не фиксируются.
Мне очень важна поддержка геймпадов, так как большую часть игр я прохожу на них

i don't play MH wilds, do you have the same issue in other games by any chance?
or what controller do you use?

I tried other games and it still doesn't seem to register. Furthermore, it only registers when tabbed into the Bongo Cat application. Otherwise, it doesn't work. I am using an Xbox controller, specifically I am using an 8BitDo Xbox wired controller.

From my experience, when I'm playing a game on thursday (13 March), controller registers input normally. But yesterday, it doesn't register except when I click on the bongo cat first. But when I'm back to the game, bongo cat still doesn't receive any input from the controller. Using admin mode and gaming mode doesn't seem to help

hm gotcha, yeah we tested it with a few controllers but maybe i have to take another look, thx for reporting it!
Button Combo doesn't work(ex: LB+X should count as 2 clicks but it counts as 1, confirmed with disabled Steam Input)
