It probably isn't, since it's not the act of the character being inputted that counts in the counter, as much as it's the action of any key being hit directly- so the key that's hit doesn't impact anything, just that a key is being hit at all

Besides, if you're worried about getting your accounts hacked, you should have 2FA or MFA enabled regardless to prevent that, and- if you're worried about stuff like your debit/credit card info or other personal information being logged, you can just close the game via Steam and ensure there are no unknown tasks related to it in the process manager of your PC

But, that said, Steam is very quick to notice malware in most cases, and for as long as this game has been released- I doubt it has anything malicious it could do.

Dev has stated they don't obfuscate the code at all so you can look right into the game's code if you want easily.
