GOD FORSAKEN

GOD FORSAKEN

Nice graphic with great concept BUT (Suggestions after testing demo)
Firstly, the art style and graphic are nice (I do hope the graphic can be clearer though, I am playing at max setting but the graphic is still blurry but acceptable)

This type of horde hack and slash/shooter depends heavily on how smooth the control is.
This genre is best play with a controller and the pace is very important, if too slow people fall asleep, if too fast, people eyes got tired.

I highly recommend the dev to learn the UI and control from "Yet Another Zombie Survivors". It has the best smooth gameplay of its genre. When you collect enough points and the 3 cards pop up, you see how smooth it navigate using controller. Just moving the stick to pick the card u want, dont use the stick as pointer, it is not a mouse. Just swap left and right with controller. (Hard to explain by typing, pls play "Yet Another Zombie Survivors" with controller/ M&K to learn from it.

and how the cards presented is also crucial, the cards should have different colors to represent its rarity and with an easy to read banner below the card to indicate its class/rarity. The tier for cards & loot should be the same. Thus, if yellow is the highest tier (legendary) for weapon then it will be the same for cards so yellow card will be the best for example.

Now when your game pops up the cards, hard to tell which one is the better card, they look the same and what does the purple or blue card represents? If purple is the best tier of card in your game, then add a banner on the card with the capital letters "LEGENDARY".

Moreover, adding a loot filter & auto pick up are essential in a fast pace game like this, just 1 second hesitation can cause the toon's life so we got no time to compare loot, adding a loot filter for players to decide what they wanna pick up in the option is thus a necessity. e.g. players can choose to only pick up blue items automatically or they can also turn off automatic pick up in the option.

The diablo like theme and the shiny loots are really interesting, pls keep up the good work, the foundation for God Forsaken is solid now, just need to polish the UI and controls to make the game smooth and easy to navigate.

Already wishlisted the game, can't wait for the launch! Thanks! :cozybethesda:

*pls also add a button on the gear to equip by pressing only 1 button instead of now having to drag it to the gear slot (for controller i mean). Also pressing only 1 button to store an item instead of having to drag the item to the storage. Many controls can be streamlined into 1 button. Even for M&K, streamlining controls & UI are important to make the gameplay enjoyable.

* another important thing i forget to mention is now you have to awkwardly move the right stick of controller to change where the character is facing. It is clunky, pls pls learn from "Yet Another Zombie Survivors", see how that game combine movement + camera together smoothly to increase immersion tremendously.

* now the town is dull and empty. How about we can have our own house/ hideout? Furniture/ decors can drop from mobs like loots and then we can place it in our home. I love how we got books in your game and i read that we can put the books on shelf (i yet to find any bookshelf to put the books though) Having our own cozy home will surely make the game a lot more immersive!

Really love the idea of character customization and loots dropping from mobs in your game. Thanks again!
