Sonic and SEGA All Stars Racing

Sound & music suddenly stops during racing..
Check my movie @ 0:18 sec....
https://youtu.be/HWSW7IA5EdI
Everything is just fine but suddenly the music and sounds stops...
(the up-side down screen is just a power-up within the game..)
I can continue to play the game.. It happens within the first or second race.
I've tried to:
-reinstall the game.
-Change the bitrate from my soundcard. On-board Asus Hero / SupremeFX is set to 24bits, 48000 HZ. Changing this in other rates, causes the game to crash immediatly.

Specs:
Win 10 64-bit
I7-4970K
Asus Z97 Maximus Hero VII
16 GB Corsair Vengeance.
Asus GTX 980

this happens to me on the samba de amigo course. when it starts the sound for the entire game just stops.
I had the same problem. It's strange but when you turn vsync on the problem dissappears.

@ vicky, will give that a try. Thx!

Same problem with my Windows 10, 64 bit, Intel/NVidia system. Enable or disable vsync does not help here.

@same here. I think the problem happens when I have multiple audio devices, such as my second monitor with built-in speakers. I now have a strange work-around.
BEFORE I start the game I make sure I've put the monitor on of off, close any other programs that may use the audio device. Then I righttclick the game in steam, start the config and untick & tick a box (for instance the widescreen box) and save. I saves the 'new' config file. Then I close the config screen and than start the game. I've been playing the game now for a while without this strange sound bug.

Tried this, still not working. Sound was crashing while the track loading screen.

hmmm that sound like an other bug maybe. The sound at my game only stops when I'm around 10 secondes racing, not during loading of other times. :(

Well, that is different for me. Sometimes right after the loading screen, sometimes after 10 seconds racing, sometimes after I finished the first race.

when I think about it... I have reinstalled my soundcard driver, when a update failed. Maybye re-installing your sounddriver wil help?

I don't think that this will help, because I use the Steam Link. The sound card is muted while streaming.

I had the same problem, but I took Tori's suggestion above, enabled vsync and it worked. Don't know if it will solve it for everyone though.

16 GB DDR4

I have the same problem here. Did you discover how to fix it?

It only happens on my windows 10. On windows 7 it doesn't happen.

Wow I just got this today I thought it was because of my overclock but I'll check if v-sync solves this problem. I guess this game doesn't like G-Sync to much.
DCeric Jun 5, 2019 @ 11:33am
V-sync option didn't work for me. How many of you are using Realtek as a sound device and overclocking?
