Xbox Controller Support?

Hi all,

I currently own the sequel to this game and I love it. However, I've read sources that both say it supports an Xbox 360/One controller, and that it doesn't support the controllers.

Can any Steam users confirm if it has Xbox controller support?

I own the game as well as the other version but it doesn't matter, we use MULTIPLE Xbox controllers at the same time and they all work.

To go even further, the cheap "Rock Candy" controller you can buy at walmart works as well if you can get it to work on your PC....thats what we use here and multiple controllers work there as well.

I also normally hate Xbox in general and are quite annoyed on how the Xbox pretty much tried to manipulate PC games in general by forcing an Xbox only type of config or support in games but with this game, the controller works above expectations and the controls are already configured for you so you won't need to screw around and 'guess' which controls you want for what and which controller you want for player 1 and so on.

Thanks for the immediate response. I've always wanted to try this game after playing Transformed on PC. It's great to know that the controllers work, and I agree that it's a little annoying towards people who don't own the Xbox controllers; though I find that they're pretty good quality for controllers.

I was thinking that Transformed was better at first but after my five-year-old wanted to try the regular version over the Transformed version, I replayed it and I honestly think that the race tracks are better if you are just racing with cars in the first game. Transformed is a good game and I truly like it better but I did like the wheeled sections better in the original version though.

i don't expect a reply seen as tho it's been so long but do you know if it works with a controller on single player as im having trouble connecting mine lol, any help would be greatly appreciated

why did you necromance a 8 year old thread when you could've made a new thread? i got my Xbox Series controller to work by checking Xbox and generic gamepad options in the Steam controller settings.
