Retail as Steam key?

Is it possible to buy a retail copy to get working Steam key? (Because the game has a serial)

You can try, but unfortunately it most certainly won't work, it's GFWL key and while some games made their GFWL keys activate on Steam when they transitioned from GFWL to Steamworks (e.g. Bioshock 2), that was not the case for Vancouver 2010.

Actually the main problem is to find original build of the game, since you can use key for activation from other GFWL games (they can activate each other, that's weird, but it's true), for example you can buy game The Club on steam, use its key to Vancouver 2010 and it will be successfully activated. But how to find the game installer itself without repacks etc (since they all broken, i've tried, they crash after 5-10 minutes)
