Controller Support
If the game had Controller Support it would be amazing.

What control are you using? It works fine with mine?

Yes, it has a gamepad support. Should work fine with both XInput and DirectInput controllers

(Demo Version) - PS4 controller has some issues. Analog stick doesn't seem to register diagonals, and other directions become unresponsive sporatically. Can't get the Dpad to do much beyond ducking.

A standard wired Xbox 360 controller seems to work fine. And if all else fails, use joy to key. Map an action to a keyboard key, then use joy to key to remap the keyboard button to a controller button.

the options menu is confusing. controller support is in there just hit enter on the control section and it opens up.

Unfortunately it happens absolutely randomly and that's an engine issue. Normally it should work perfectly with XBOX360 controller and it actually works on some systems. I'll try to reach out the engine developer to fix this issue.

I've tried the demo with several generic USB gamepad (including replicas from iBuffalo, Retrolink and NES30) and they work perfectly in all cases. Hope this helps.
Cheers

Thanks, this proves that gamepad issues are totally random

I plugged in a XBOX 360 controller and it doesn't work with Super Cyborg. I also tried a Retrolink NES controller and that didn't work either. How can I get a refund for my purchase of Super Cyborg?

I'm using an xbox one controller and the dpad is all messed up and I can't shoot diagonally on the analog stick at all.

Yeah - Analog on the Xbox One controller is ass. Better off using the Dpad. Also, if you plan on attempting analog, I recommend going into the options and inverting the Y axis.

Also - why can't we just use A/B to accept/cancel?

Actually only up and left work on the dpad.

So here's what I've come to realise; this game's controller support is completely random on a per system, per controller basis. So to anyone out there I wouldn't buy this game with expectation of playing with a gamepad without having to run some kind of keyboard mapping software.

D-pad isn't working correctly. Using XboxOne controller. I can run right and aim up, but no diagonal or left.
