10,000 land + 100 treasures achievements are too much

I played for 5 hours and got all other achievements done except im only at 2000 land (AND I even chose to get land for every single level up) and I'm at 32 treasures found.

I feel those 2 achievements are way too high for quality of life. I played for 5 hours, enjoyed the game. But theres no way I want to spend another 10 hours farming those 2 achievements. I'll probably just let them go and not get them, which is fine.

Despite that, I feel like 5,000 land and 50 treasures would have been better. That would be more enticing to spend a few more hours playing to get than what its at now, which is frankly just too much.

Oh well, I still enjoyed it.

Plus after 15 lvl there's to big gap, I fight only guys on my lvl or lower because stronger ships are 22, 27 or over 40 lvl.

Well, it took me about 24 hours to 100% the game. As the op said, the first 5 hours are fairly enjoyable and takes you pretty much to the end of the game, but those last two achievements really were a terrible grind. Having the type of end-game achievements that sort of ask you to play so far beyond the end just for the sake of getting 100% is really detrimental to the overall enjoyment. In hindsight, I probably wouldnt have bothered it I knew I had 19 more hours to try to get those last two.

Thanks for the heads up -- perseverance, you've got it.

I just started playing and I agree that the game is quite enjoyable. That said, I don't think I'm gonna have the patience to grind that much for those last 2 achievements either, it seems a bit extreme considering 19+ hours is enough time to complete another game or two. Oh well.

After 18 tedious hours of trying to farm these achievements, I have given up. I never want to see a game like this again!

10000 land isn't actually too bad if you just start killing every ship you see in the space between England and France, then sail over to Spain and turn in your 60 or 70 flags to the repeating "we are at war with X" quests.

But even killing nothing but ships, my treasure map count ended up at 48 while doing the 10000 land quest. That achievement should definitey be at 50 with how the current game works. Levels no longer give me anything important, my rating bar is maxed out at 100, and there are no upgrades left for me to get, but I still need to go grind for treasure maps for another several hours. I won't get any benefit out of that grind in-game, it's entirely for an achievement.
