All achievements in 4.5 hours, progress is way off
I was out to lunch and idling so realistically the game's like speedrunnable sub 2 hours
Whale% is probably sub 1 hour but there's really no challenge, just chores so not a fun game to speedrun, which makes the game just simply "too short"

Usually idle games enemies exponentially scale while you linearly scale
This game you exponentially scale while enemies linearly scale

The game is fun until you get to like 1m XP, then everything blows up and all numbers become meaningless

Problem #1: Combo carries over when retrying raids
Combo increases damage done by adventurer. It carries over when you retry raids
So a raid you can't beat becomes beatable if you just keep retrying
And every retry makes it faster so a raid you failed at first sooner or later becomes farmable without upgrading anything, by the sheer power of combo carryover
Pick a raid -> farm it -> power spike -> move onto higher raid -> farm it -> power spike -> repeat

Problem #2: KT doesn't reset anything
Prestiges are painful and upgrading skilltree for 20 characters is really annoying
So I appreciate KT milestones making it less painful by not resetting the skilltree
But then damage -> XP -> KT points -> damage -> XP -> KT points -> repeat
By KT #5 you'd have so many points that you couldn't spend them all with a mere x1000 button. I got over a billion points but probably managed to spend about a million.
If there was a % based button, would have ended up with e+300 kind of number within a couple minutes. And soon break the game with naneinf a la Balatro.

Problem #3: Classes are the same-y
At one point Priest, Barbarian and Gunslinger were next to each other in the DPS chart.
They all upgrade the same. Nothing to think about. No such thing as build diversity. More copies of generic classes that all do the same thing at about the same efficiency.
Which means you get a predictable and reliable power spike which is just not fun as it becomes just doing the same thing 20 times over.

#1 might be intended, might be an exploit, but fixing it only prolongs the playtime until #2 is reached so fundamentally doesn't add any fun or substance to the game
#2 would be difficult to fix without changing damage=xp thing the whole game is based on so we're probably SOL
#3 needs a revamp of the classes which I doubt is going to happen so this game is gonna be a "raid with 19 other generic classes"

It is very beatable sub 2 hours yes, I did. I didn't even knowledge transfer until I got to the final raid, was out-powering the raids faster than I could spend xp. First KT was 20k or so, then 100million or so, and then I broke the hard cap on xp, I didn't bother counting it because the game runs quite poorly at that stage so a piddly 1k at a time makes spending enough to beat the new enemy scaling basically impossible. I'm not willing to click power and attack speed for 5 hours lol.

It's a fun enough game, but very short and just let's you break it over your knee. I'm not sure there's a surface fix to that and I'm not certain I'd want to play this game for weeks rather than hours or perhaps days. So I don't necessarily think it'd even benefit from all that much rebalancing. Make progress take twice as long and that'd definitely be an improvement, make it 4x or more and I'm fairly sure it would overstay its welcome.
I think they spent more time in the game on the "Raid Atmosphere" than endgame progression and replay value. Once you can one shot the last boss, not sure new game plus really add anything, other thank its "harder" ok no thanks
