Console Production Costs - Way to decrease faster?

Just curious if I might just be missing something.....
It seems by the time it's low enough to make a decent profit, it's down to 1/4 star.

You mean the research price? That doesn't change. The production cost of your consoles go lower and lower. MIne were around 85$ production at some point. However the desire to own was absolutely zero (the yellow star on your console sheet bottom right)
The longer a console is in use the lower the production price becomes, overtime.
You can automatie the prices of your console. Once it's down to a black star you should start making a new console.

Yea... It's just that by the time I get the console production costs to around $350 each, it's time to upgrade the console.

That's my issue. Try and sell more I guess? I keep the heart at 100. Most I've been able to sell is 12M
