Buying Developers

Can someone explain the point to buying other development companies i have tried buying other companies and have them make games on their won but for some reason when i buy a company they stop making game's at all, even if i provide financial assistance and make them a five star company they just don't do anything no matter if i make the minimum quality 5 stars or no stars no company ever does anything i have played and re-played this game over and over and i have never seen another development company make a game once i have bought it, and yet if i sell the company they go right back to making games.

As far as i know it is completely random if and when the NPC makes a game.
Years ago when i played the game a lot I often bought all companies to force them to do exclusives for my console and it worked. They dont release games that often, but it works.

A game in a year is much a lot, one game in 2 - 4 years normal. Buying companies is just a money grave, each company costs 10 millions / month (120 millions / year) only to keep them running...
There games never make enough profit to refinance themselves.

Buying and closing is a good strategie, buy all and there is other than you, your games and your console and handheld. By time all is yours ;)

they are working on a sequel which is much more expansive

I believe they already released the sequel as of January 21 2021, it's called Mad Games Tycoon 2

its not finished its in early access and ik cos i have been playing it since it came out
