Room Design - Workers running too far for needs
So I have the Large Office and the little nublets are running to the other side of the building to go the toilet instead of the room beside him. Is this a problem due to the worker's Work Will, a bug, room design or something else?

Any tips to get around it? I've screamed threats at the game but it hasn't worked so far: "The water in the cooler beside your workstation is the same as the water in the Training Room on the other side of the building... Don't make me cut you!" "I hope you don't 'accidentally' fall into the Press..." "If you're wondering why that trashcan is leaking red and you're missing a workmate...!" "Coolade? No? All the Coolers only have water. A hand? Surely not."

Legit tips, I hope. Though soon I will be trying to block everything off and make the lil' buggers teleport everywhere. Works inside a room when I'm being cheap and trying to save on space early on, at least.

I think you need to block off the office to the toilets you want them to go to.

yeah, what I do is build the rooms so that theres two different areas, with rooms around them, kind of like two lobbies, so that there is no way to go to the other side of the building.

i usually ran an open corridor through the whole building and one person from one end would walk all the way to the otherside of the building to get at a filing cabinet!

so if you want to make it as effective and as efficent as possible lock off the areas place everything of convience as close as possible in work spaces, especially in giant offices. for small to medium offices, it is a pain but it is the trade off you'll just have to accept.

only doorways need hallway walkspace, just the 1 square in front of each
block off the rest and they'll teleport, complete with animation and sound :steamhappy:
