Player limit?

I've been looking everywhere to see if there is a limit to how many people you can play with in co-op, but don't see it mentioned anywhere... Has anyone figured it out yet?

I've got a bunch of people interested in getting it so we can all play together, but I'm not going to recommend a game to people if it's only like 4 people, but more than 4 want to join me. Would of been useful information from the dev.
