Sunrider games order?
hello i am new to this series and so far i am playing sunrider academy, it is quite enjoyable but after i plan on playing liberation day? i noticed some of the characters were the same and was wondering if liberation day is a sequal to academy or is it a dif story in its own right? please help a noob because i feel like this is a great series and is it like telltale episodes or seasons where you download save data from earlier in this case from academy to liberation to keep your choices? please someone explain! thanks ;)

Mask of Arcadius -> Liberation Day and then Sunrider Academy is a spin off school years for some of the cast (alternative universe). It should also be noted that save importing will only work for your save from MoA and into LD.

Personally I would do: Mask of Arcadius -> Sunrider Academy -> Liberation Day.

It is a lot easier to appreciate the references if you play MoA first and there are foreshadow moments in Academy to the events of LD (as Academy was released between MoA and LD).

Ultimately you just need to make sure you have played MoA before going into LD, Academy can technically be played without playing either.

Yes, the events of MoA happen before LD.

are the characters the same then? do they have the same relationships in academy to the main character and how is academy related?
Academy is just a 'whats if' scenario where characters from the series went to school together (although it is in the canon that Kayto and Ava were childhood friends in MoA/LD just not that there were other characters there like Chigara and Asaga).

is it just a game unrelated to the main story and instead something u can play seperatley??
The narrative is its own and does not influence the stories of MoA or LD, there may be the odd reference to the main series but it sits as its own entry rather than a continuation.

I played Academy first and enjoyed it. After playing MoA and Liberation Day, I replayed Academy and truly enjoyed a lot of the references and subtleties that were missed in the first playthrough.

Oh, a developer commenting on a thing like this? Here's a question for you, Nemjen: why, why, why, WHY DO YOU HATE NUMBERS?

Where is Mask of Arcadius on steam? I only see steam store listings for Academy and Liberation day.

Digging up bones here, but personally, I loved Academy and played it first. It hurt the presentation of the characters to me because I expected them to behave more in line with SA than how they are in MOA, the first entry. The characters are more relaxed and loose and its almost like a beach episode amongst the middle of a series. Would recommend saving this OVA until the end unless you are ready to treat it like the OVA it is, not as a starting point to ANY series.
