Black screen on career mode after latest update

same here, everyday opening a game is like a gamble of whether the game works or not. have to reset more than 10x to get one game running

tried all of it, doesnt work. still black screen. it only occured after the april 28 update so something in that update must have broken something in the game. please fix it.

same here. This FC version is probably the last that I would buy. lags, connection, glitches, just F-ing horrible. the problems are never ending

It might be worth trying to rule out local file issues, as they can sometimes occur after updates.

One thing you could try is resetting your game settings by renaming the EA SPORTS FC 26 folder to something like FC 26_backup. You’ll find it here:
C:\Users\Your_Username\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26
(the AppData folder is hidden, so you may need to enable hidden files to see it)

This would prompt the game to create fresh settings on launch.
