The way their anticheat works can't be done on Linux because it's an inherently open platform. Kernel anticheat requires a closed platform that the user can't modify. The only way to play it would be through Amazon Luna or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. You don't have to own the game separately to play it with either of them.

Steam Deck doesn't have secure boot so even with Windows Installed you couldn't play FIFA.

I now play the FC series on console because the PC version is full of cheaters. Turning off crossplay on console gives me peace of mind. Now, let me explain why I'm writing this. If the PC version is already full of cheaters, it means the anti-cheat system isn't working. So why not remove it altogether so people can play from the Steam Deck?

Their Anti Cheat doesn't even work.. wouldn't bother me if they cut it out of the game.. Cheaters will find a way to cheat even if they make the best "anti cheat" so..

The worst thing is that you can’t even play offline without the anti cheat… why? I don’t even want to play online I just want to play career mode…
