Any tips for gold shady guy hat achievement?

It's my last achievement to get before next drop and I wonder if there is any method to it that won't make me puke out of headache.

Also, I need to apologize. Not so long ago I've said that I would prefer do many more golden shady guys than trying to achieve 300k kills. Apparently I need to eat my words, chances to get gold shady guy are way to low to demand so many for an achievement, at this point I think I could do 2 purple achievement without completing golden one.

i farmed them with calcium in the desert. its fairly flat so its easier to spot. reset if you get 0-1. most runs u find 3-4 shady hat guys.

calcium or tony, restart until you get 4-6 shady guys spawning. Just go straight to all of them until you find a gold hat. Kill enemies until you can make a purchase. When you have no more gold hats on the map, restart. Your purchase alone is enough to count toward the achievement.

Considering that the update brought new achievements, we might conclude that these are not the last ones.
So, it would probably better to just ignore this one, as you will likely complete it later anyway when completing future ones.

yeah i got the same mindset, i am not in a hurry to complete the crown/golden shady guy cause there prob will be more updates ...

really wish there was some information/timeline/roadmap how many more updates this game will get and when is it finally DONE.

I'd say just do all the other achievements before those, chances are you'll probably get it done through natural gameplay, especially since you gotta get each character to rank 100 (ugh)

so as someone who has finished it. no you wont. if you grind out just hat guys it will take anywhere from 5 hours if u get lucky and just go for them only to around 30ish hours. its not something you will get naturally even if you started from a fresh account.
getting everyone to 100 just means getting 1 good run on each character, i got it b4 the update and as soon as i started the game after the update it gave it to me.

I decided to grind these gold hats because I've got 7 left to get achievement but you all have good point. I know there will be more achievements, perhaps even more stupid ones, but I was close enough to force grind the rest. Also, to confirm, method with Tony/Calcium on Desert is really the best to get those shadys.

This was the last achievement I got, did it in forest tier 1 with Tony Mczoom and the 'Turbo Mode' challenge active (Makes all items cost super cheap). Run through the map real quick and check all the shady guys, usually about 3 minutes per reset.

Also make sure you activate the setting to see how many shady guys are on the current map, forget what it is called.

I also tried this on forest with tony but I found it annoying searching for slopes to go higher, next I tried Monke to run through forest but he's kinda slow. Thats when I asked here and I must admit desert is best map for this because it's somewhat flat. I hate desert but during this grind, it was less annoying here than on forest.
