Spawn hacked keycard A
Ok I'm at my second playthrough at hard and after a lot of fights and finally finding my first data chip I find myself cose to my first invasiond annnndddd..I don't have the F* A keycard to enter the room where I can activate my turrets :/
I don't want to start again, so..is there a way to use the new cheat console and spawn the keycard?

Hahaha, I had the same exact issue! I tend to find A Keycards on Floor 3 on the Casino and Hotel. Really check everything, found one in a trashbin and another on a bathroom shelf.

You shouldn't need to cheat to get past the First Invasion. It should be really light and act as a sort of tutorial for Invasions, even on Hard. For me(on Hard Permadeath) only 4 Mutants spawned and 6-8 of those flying orb enemies. Was surprisingly easy, only took minor damage to a couple of cores that I was ready to replace anyway.

However if you don't find an A Keycard by the next Invasion, I'd definately cheat/start over. I died to the second Invasion thanks to not finding the Keycard ... totally got overrun.

I will try but it's really frustrating...I already know I won't start a third time.

Yeah, I feel that. I had died a few days ago on Permadeath after I just got a Level 3 Chip... opened door and 4 fat mutants lunged at me for an instant kill. Had to start all over, after cooling down I decided to not use Permadeath on harder difficulties.

Yeah :)
PS: I survived the first assault (with a little damage to cores), then, after resting and preparing for an external mission, I did this as my last action:
-decided to take granades with me
-placed them in my first quick slot
-used the wrong key to close the inventory and actually threw a granade to my feeet

Life on Mars is hard.

You don't need turrets to survive invasions at all. Remove all cores at leave 2-3 strongest cores where you plan to defend them, all monsters will follow to that place.
And the first invasions are so easy that they hardly can be called invasions.

Isaac: That's a very clever strategy and I might try that, LOL!

If Pixellore wanted to, I bet it could be coded to set a boolean flag on each of those cores (Core installed in generator? true/false), so that the invaders could discriminate more intelligently whether to go after you or the "true" cores in the generator.

Reconfiguring the mutant AI like that could make the game a bit too hard, though, not sure.
