Game crashes on startup if AMBX processes running

If I try to start the game I get an immediate crash on startup. If I disable / stop all ambx processes from task manager then the game works fine.

As ambx (philips interactive ambient lighting - see http://www.ambx.com/ ) is pretty uncommon I understand if you don't want to resolve this, but if you are going to do a common problems / workouts FAQ please add a suggestion to disable AMBX before starting the game.

FAQ instruction should be "disable amBXFXGen.exe for those users with the amBX software suite" You don't need to exit the other AMBX processes.

Thanks for the info maxnormal. I've been thinking of setting up something like a 'known issues' file or something similar. I'll put this in there when I do. Probably pretty uncommon for a FAQ but It'd be nice to have this referenced just in case.
