How people just blur out stuff without informing themselves properly....I dont know whether to report this thread for ignorance of trolling
Otherwise you only can auto-resolve it.
Also wrong. You can play as the opponent in every campaign battle, provided you have checked this option at the beginning.
Like ive said before, the only campaigns battles you cant fight is when play co-op against the AI. This happens most in the peninsular campaign, but can in rare occasions also happen in the europe campaign (if you are allied with each other and attack a stack together)
i have checked and in the europe campaign i cant get the battles to work it only gives me the option for auto-resolve i have made sure that the checked the play as ai option and default to battle but it doesnt even warn the other player when i am about to battle. so if it is possible to do real time battles on mp campaign they sure made it hard to work. can someone please tell me how to do it because auto-resolve is awful. we were playing as austria and prussia.
2. Re-enter the game using the save game
3. Change all the settings on the contrary (Fight battles - Autoresolve, Play is AI - Do not play as AI, Show AI moves - do not show)
4. Again, change the settings as you want
5. Play!
