Multiplayer Campaign
So...there's no real time battles during the multi campaign...all you can do is auto-resolve. Just an fyi for all of you looking to play this or buy this for the multi campaign.

FYI, you're completly wrong. It depends which campaign you are talking about and what settings you picked. I know that in the peninsular campaign you have to autoresolve if you choose factions on the same side (spain and england for example)

How people just blur out stuff without informing themselves properly....I dont know whether to report this thread for ignorance of trolling

So...i'm right...in a way. When me and my friend decided to play and chose Prussia and Russia all we could do was auto-resolve battles which was quite frustrating.

You have to be both involved in the battle to play it...
Otherwise you only can auto-resolve it.

Also wrong. You can play as the opponent in every campaign battle, provided you have checked this option at the beginning.

Like ive said before, the only campaigns battles you cant fight is when play co-op against the AI. This happens most in the peninsular campaign, but can in rare occasions also happen in the europe campaign (if you are allied with each other and attack a stack together)

Shogun 2 multiplayer campaign is extremely glitchy and unplayable after 30 turns. Is this the case in napoleon total war?

i have checked and in the europe campaign i cant get the battles to work it only gives me the option for auto-resolve i have made sure that the checked the play as ai option and default to battle but it doesnt even warn the other player when i am about to battle. so if it is possible to do real time battles on mp campaign they sure made it hard to work. can someone please tell me how to do it because auto-resolve is awful. we were playing as austria and prussia.

I am having the same issue as above ^

1. Make a regular save game
2. Re-enter the game using the save game
3. Change all the settings on the contrary (Fight battles - Autoresolve, Play is AI - Do not play as AI, Show AI moves - do not show)
4. Again, change the settings as you want
5. Play!
Any one down for a good mp campaign later ?
With Darth mod
