Sorry, for not being very specific. So, let me explain, I also have the same issue during launch. The problem being if I click/ open Napoleon Total War Imperial Edition the game simply will not launch. I only see the cursor flicker and nothing else happening. So I contacted Steam support asking me to do the verify game cache which I already done and all the standard stuff which did not make any difference. Then I figured I should contact Sega, since Steam support would not get me anywhere. Sega immediately pointed to the fact that I am running the game with bootcamp (after I gave them that info), being that it is not supported. I was suprised, and any arguments about it not making any difference. I could for one play Empire Total War without any problem therefore it did not make any sense to me. Still baffled about the answer from Sega support, then I thought I need a new PC for this purpose without running bootcamp. But now reading on this forum I came to the conclusion it is not about bootcamp at all, and Sega support and/ or Steam support does not care at all about this problem.
Actually I just want to know if anybody else has the Napoleon Imperial Edition and can run the game without any trouble (without playing the game with mods, which I don't do)?
In case you can, can you share your msinfo32 / pc specs?
♥♥♥♥ your Help of "Game Cache" "Reset Steam" "Reset Computer"
I get your frustration but there are more constructive ways of voicing and directing it.
So they are trying to help, correct ?? Even if it isn't the best advice or solution why is it aggravating you so much that you're getting so hysterically abusive pal If you know something different then please share your thoughts with the OP, if not, keep your abuse either in your head or in check and if anyone else thinks this person is offensive then please flag it as abusive and unhelpful, this is a forum for help and advice, not a device for delivering abuse Sir !!!
:) No worries !!
If you run Napoleon.Exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Napoleon Total War Demo it will complain about d3dx9_40.dll begin missing. Which is part of DirectX (which I guess is not installed with Win 10). You can get it here...

Once it is installed, it should work.It may take a while the first time.
