One to keep an eye on though.
Having units of up to 600 troops or so is much more realistic than the 120 infantry and 45 cavalry in the Vanilla release - but it does make them more difficult to handle at times and running out of ammunition is a greater factor with these larger bodies of troops. Still, it does add another strategic dimension to the game as well.
I appreciate everyone's recommendations and input.
I don't get the dislike for fire by rank in this title, I see this a lot in mod descriptions & in threads. Don't get me wrong here each to ones own tastes just curious as to reasons as it was the established tactic of the day etc and I quite like the rank fire effects CA and Darth did good work IMO in this area.
And yeah, NTW3 removed it and for me it was the main reason I removed that mod as they also couldn't hit the side of a barn so battles took way to long for my tastes but I loved the naval battles and the scouting elements to that mod.
