Patch for 12th gen processors

I wish to know when we will get a patch for the compatibility with 12th gen processors. Does anyone know if CA has a plan for this, will they release a patch?

Don't have a link right now, but did see a post the other day, that had direct response from Sega (CA) saying that they had a team working on making a patch.

I am very happy if their promise will be reality soon. Maybe we see this before Midsummer :). This fix can extends game's lifespan because newer PCs can also play this!

ea's definition of soon can range from a few weeks to a few year or a few decades :)

Hey guys, a workaround to this issue was found which requires editing the Napoleon.exe file.

Video below explains it. Uploader also shared a github link where you can simply download his patched exe and replace it directly (I suggest keeping a backup of the original exe though just in case).

If you have no sound try deleting the userscript in =>> %appdata% (roaming) ==> the creative assembly ==> napoleon ==> script folder ==> delete user.script

Haven't tested with mods yet.

Also no alt tabbing out the game to desktop, etc..
