Is that what you're looking for ?
No problem. I haven't used the mod yet my friend, just knew it was on the TW site.
Ah..the old "felder carb" !! (Honestly I had no clue, I had to google it) It's a tough thing to answer because I haven't played that mod but most mods have the similar looking details more or less.

(let me know if you can't see the image, I have set it to private and for ease of use put it in my artwork coleection, I'll change the visibility if you tell me)
This is how NTW3 looks for example, but for a definitive answer you really would need someone who plays the mod to tell you exactly what the contents of ACW 2.0 looks like, but hey the thought of playing that mod may push me into giving it a bash, just have to move some stuff around before hand. And then if you don't get any further help I'll give you an insight into what I experienced and what the data file looks like.

Thanks again for your help. P.S. I will gladly accept tips and fixes if you are willing to share that information.
No problem Leonard glad you got it figured out. I'm not sure I understand the part about timing and the script copy. It doesn't really matter if you take a week to put the user script in the script folder as long as you dont try running the game beforehand. But it wouldn't hurt to have the destination already open to make it easier for you in future mod installs.
What other issues are you experiencing ? I've played a few battles now and run into no problems. The only trouble I've had was lag in some battles, in some it's my own fault for playing with huge armies in 3v3 and another was a 1v1 which had spells of lag, but that could have been down to the density of trees and with the graphics maxed out, it may have been straining my rig ? Oh and if you don't like the tracers like me then have a look for a mod to remove them or I can send you a link to it.
Sorry I miss led you on the "script". The timing issue is with the %appdata% function. I found that I had to execute %appdata% while still in the "data" folder before going to the "Script" folder and running it as a part of setting up the script file. I hope this makes more sense. Of course I still have no idea what %appdata% actually does. From the contents of your reply, it seems you have installed ACW 2.0 on your system. Thanks again for your help as it is much appreciated.
Hi Leonard, that doesn't sound right with the menu screen, you should have an American Civil War themed background on the menu screen so I don't know what has occured there ? If it was me I'd reinstall the mod even though it's a chore, believe me I'm going through it at the moment ? I did try out the mod but after loading a battle the other night (Fredricksburg) with a 2v2 army set up the lag was horrendous, maybe it's down to my set up, I play with large regiments (400+ Infantry scale) and it struggled and has struggled with other maps but not as bad, which is a bit of a game breaker for me, if the mod can't handle that like other mods I know I will only play it now and again. So I decided to switch back to NTW3 because of a new update, but I'm having issues with that installation and my original version seems to have broke, so I'm doing a fresh install of everything for the second time today. Something I did must have been wrong and I was getting error messages ? Sometimes the simplest of operations can be easily messed up

Not sure what your interest in the American Civil War is; but there is a great ACW game called
Ultimate General - Civil War. Pretty flexible with both historical and custom battles. There is also a campaign mode which covers the entire war.
Thanks mate, I bought it earlier this year but it cost me an arm and a leg lol It has been brilliant but I do try to push it too far with my battles. Everything else I play though are fantastic, Verdun, IL Sturmovik, Men of War Assault Squad all run marvelous on it and compared to the old lap top I used to play on it's a zillion times better. I have heard about that game, I watched a lot of you tube videos regarding it too, I think his name is the Historical Gamer and it did look impressive. Maybe I'll indulge some time soon. I am very intersted in that period and have watched many many documentaries, films (Gettyburg and Gods and Generals are hard to beat) and also the Gettysburg NPS lectures and guided walks. Anyway I hope you're enjoying the mod, did you get the launch screen fixed ?
