Strategy, Tips, and Tricks!
Hey guys! Really like seeing the Napoleon Total War community here on steam, and I thought of expressing my hobby of blogging for you guys (and especially the newbies).

I've decided to take the time out of my day to create a website for both you seasoned and new Total War Players. Where a variety topics are covered such as strategies, army compositions, general trips, and opinionated topics (which are open for discussion!)

Here is the website https://www.brothersingaming.com :)

What other tips do you have? I finally tried the coalition wars. Playing Prussia. Figured it out the Third try. My problem is britain. I beat France. Then britain declared war on Prussia. Any ideas?

Post a screenshot including the Diplomatic Relations Panel for your end-of-turn save the turn GB declared war. In my experience GB only declares war for a reason - though not all the reasons may be obvious.

Forgive me, but I'm a dumbass that forgot how to post screenshots on the forums. Last time was 4 yrs ago. Anyways: The british diplomacy reads in order from top to bottom turn before declaration: +60, -32, +15, +10, -10, +1, +44. Declaration turn: -146, -30, +15, +10, -10, +1, -156. I do believe Ya'll are correct about the designers mess ups. After I took Paris, two months later britaim declares war. OK. I reloaded the game the same turn I took Paris. Gave it back to France. Got two techs, Alsace and a peace treaty. Now, 5 months after that, britain declares war. This might explain a lot. Prussia took over: Mecklenburg, Oldenburg, Sachen, Baden, Hessen, Danmarck, Norway, Batavische, Alsace and the two french territories East of Paris. So what ya'll stated makes sense why britain declared war. Austria still has Bohemia and Bavaria because france invaded me and I really put a hurting on their armies. Prussia is difficult, because they are poor. Even with the industries built up, 6 cotton boats and 6 tobacco boats the army is costly. Thanks for your in put.

I did find this out. Invade Sachen for the gentleman's club and Mecklenburg for the port immediately. Build a college in Poland. That helps a lot. If Danmarck declares war, because allies with Mecklenburg. That is also good for the college, trade dock in Danmarck and the drydock in Norway.

Playing as a Coalition Faction I never take Paris Until i am ready to take on everyone else.

Instead of capturing Paris, conquer and liberate all the other French territories and beat down the French by attacking the troops outside Paris with a couple of stacks for a few turns while one prepares for the assault. I like to liberate Brittany, Belgium and Netherlands, and gift Normandy to Brittany. This creates a nice Atlantic Wall against the Brits.

This is my first time and that sounds good. I was thinking that, because the Nederlanden sends their fleet to mess up Prussia's trade routes and it gives Napoleon time to take away form Austria the territories Prussia needs to fill the territories needed to win.

Hey eahaas, my website is primarily for multiplayer advice but if I find myself having more time I'd be more than happy to include this kind of singleplayer information in the future!

In terms of multiplayer, what faction do you like/want to play as? I can definitely try and cover it similarly to the Russian empire guide I posted on my blog.
Thanks!

I have slow dsl. Multiplayer is not advisable. 5k hasn't made it this fare, Thanks though. I will admit that commanding the Prussians or Frenchies, britain puts up the most difficult battles. I need to try one of the mods or they need to make a NapoleonTW2. Example is in one battle britains foot troops were knocked down from 120 men to 20 men and their moral was still green.
