how to turn off hud?
is there anyway to remove the hud? Like a mod or something I have searched but to no avail?!

Function keys F5, F6, and F7 in battle, also, there are tick markers under "controls" in options menu.

You can also disable it and some more options, like i.e. in-game video notification and occupyable building markers, in the (hidden) preferences.script.txt.
