Normal shogun 2 Naval sucks as 97% of the ships you will find are bunes with some cannon bunes etc,the exception being the Portuguese Caravels and Galleons.
Shogun 2 Fall of the Samurai However as my friend Tasunke said has some amazing Naval combat with ironclads, frigates and torpedo boats.
Thanks mate, I didn't state I was talking about FOTS
:D the base version is nice really nice but not for naval. In FOTS Navy plays a bigger role wich should be also present in empire and napoleon for example shore bombardements and coastal sieges etc.
Yes a kinda rome 2 TW system but im guessing CA wont bother updating older games with stuff like that.
Yeh and yeh, maybe in Napoleon 2 they have unveiled to be released in 2119
Sadly. Honestly deep down i hope they someday make an Empire total war 2 with the entire globe and all factions but even if they do it (a miracle would be needed xD) we would have 5 nations and had to pay for the rest or rely on the moders (our saviors) to get a more complete game.
Very very true, I think I'd wait for the modders version though, it's always more impressive
Yes off course not all nations are naval oriented and specially in Napoleon they are less useful than in empire, still for Portugal,Spain,UK and France they can be crucial in campaign.
I mean like in Shogun 2 Total War or Rome 2 Total War.
Everyone likes using Ironclad shooting cannons instead of ramming with infantry and archers?
