NTW3 7.5 - historical battle

When playing NTW3 7.5 historical battles, I can see the long list of battles, but when loading one, there are no predefined units.

Is this nornal: you have to manually prepare all the units for each battle, or does it mean the install failed?

If you run historical battles, below Classical Battle, Campaign, etc, you are only changing the mechanics slightly to something a little more realisitic. Those that play them (I'm not one of them) tend hold certain rules of what you can and can't do.

HB maps are maps that have been created to mimic the real life battlefield.

Scenario Battles are the ones that have the predetermined units.

Just to check:
If I select Eylau for example in the launcher, there is a description of the line-up on the map. After clicking start HB, in the Eylau map single player, there are no predefined army and I cannot even switch the nationality. That seems wrong

I might be wrong, but I do believe you cannot play HB in singleplayer. You have to select multiplayer, and then just host a lan battle against the AI. That's how I play "singleplayer" HBs
