How to install The great war mod ?

I honestly can't remember how I did it. I think I just transferred everything to the data folder and used the launcher of the mod itself. That being said, I found this. It could be helpful.

I crash too from time to time. The mod is unstable and was abandoned, so...

Mod was abandoned ? why :o such a cool and awesome mod...In some its better than vanilla one

I know. I love the sound effects and the artillery. I guess the guy just moved on. A shame, really, because the dedicated total war forum is still alive.

i seem to run into some problem trying to install this mod. i'm definitely missing something when it comes to extracting the great war mod files into NTW and running the launcher
