Computer Hacking CONTROLS issue.

First off: I am not in the possession of a controller. I know HOW to actually do the computer hacking as well.

The problem is..I can move the first code just fine with either arrow keys or WASD but once I lock it and have to move the second code, none of those keys work to move the code to the right spot...That saying, this is a real issue for me to continue any further in the game.

As far as I know I should also be able to move the second code with WASD but sadly nothing happens no matter how much I press those keys...

Help please. :C

Move your mouse and you'll see the code moves with it. Guide it to the spot you want and click LMB.

Alright, I will give that a try, seems a lot faster too if that works which will be very useful, thanks!

You're meant to control both codes independently so that you can search for and select both codes at the same time. The second code is moved using the mouse and confirmed with a left click.

So judging by your post, No, you didn't know how the hacking worked, because the right code is controlled completely differently from the left one. :P

LMAO I meant I don't need explaining on how to spot the codes which is what most topics regarding the hacking was about.

Yeah one side uses the mouse but it controls really poorly for me, best stick with the controller.

i had serious problems with hacking until i realised not all the numbers are changing randomly.

Yeah that's the point of the puzzle, but this can be either really easy or really hard depending on a lot of things.

Yes, the mouse control is definitely not great for the code on the right. It's very hard to get precise, and it even feels more sluggish to me than the left code.
