Alpha Protocol Revived
I've been playing this game randomly with my disc version that SEGA gave me the offline patch for years ago. Happy to see it back on Steam! If you want to experience it in a new light, you might enjoy my Revived mod.

Did you ever want to experience Alpha Protocol, but with somewhat a better progression system regarding how quickly you gain AP points, and overall gameplay? Then this mod is for you!

What does this mod change?

-Min XP needed has been completely overhauled!
*By the time you escape the medical bay and talk to Westridge you will have hit Level 2 with 32 AP points.
*Additionally from this point all levels of XP to gain AP points has been drastically reduced, so you will maxing out skills in no time.

-Default Noise Stats overhauled
*This alters all noise levels, so you can use even heavy armor and it will be just as quiet as the stealth outfit.
*Important to note that the stealth levels in-game wont reflect correctly but you'll find out quickly they work.

-Smoother Movement overhauled
*Michael now has double endurance,
*Moves in and out of corners more fluidly
*All movements now look more natural (as possible)

-Better Reticle
*Updated to be more accurate, and smaller, unlike the vanilla where it takes up most the screen and scales down. This reticle more closes resembles that of Splinter Cell Conviction - precise and accurate.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
This is more simple than most make it seem. You don't have to go into the documents file, you don't have to go into properties and set to read only.

Just do the following:
COPY AND PASTE all 4 configuration files to the following:
C Drive - Program Files(x86) - Sega - Alpha Protocol - APGame - Config
Overwrite existing files
Alternately you can have this on any drive you want.

#Version 1.1 Update
-Min XP on this version makes AP points show up even quicker.
*This is ideal for someone starting a brand new save and hasn't unlocked Veteran yet, or maybe you just want those points to show up quicker so that it feels more like a New game plus mode.
-Slight change to noise stats, with sound drop off slightly reduced so the guards don't have super human hearing.

VERSION 1.2 Added a bunch of new changes, including better graphics, improved textures and blood effects.

Awesome, I’ll update it. Thank you.
Hey, curseofnight here. Just wanted to thank you for refining these little mods and keeping them alive. Nice work!
Edit: Also, I gave you two endorsements; one with my main and a second on my alt. >.<

to confirm this is a "makes the game easier mod" Yes?

Yes, and I’d say “better” also.

True the better reticles mod does cheese the game, but I would say just play through the game normally once and then use the mod. It is a huge QOL update. Coupled with the True crosshairs mod it is almost downright enjoyable.
Question to the mod author: Do you compile all the ini tweaks yourself, or copy them from other ini mods into one compilation?

No compilation, this was a big passion project for me. Took a lot of time figuring out all gameplay, graphics, and xp system tweaks with a lot of trial and error. But I will give a shotout to the modder curseofnight whom inspired me to put together my own mod.

I meant does it compare to the GoG version with the unlocked graphic resolutions! I'll go download it and install and see for myself.

Looks like a real passion project.
