very rpg /dailog options, terrible stealth.
the " stealth in this game is terrible , don't care for the combat to much either, other than that its a great game. I enjoy the story / dialog options.

im smgs atm , i was going all stealthy / gadgety , but then i realized how broke the stealth was , so now i just rambo it.

If by "broke" you mean its terribly easy if you're smart about it...

what i mean is you kill someone " stealthily" and a enemy gaurd , upon discovering the body, runs straight towards you , even if he didn't witness the murder. just stuff like that. but ya i know how to " beat" the system.

You left the next guard alive long enough to find a body? Don't worry, once you get some practice that won't happen. :)

no , what i mean is , that happens. I've already played the game once through w/o 0 detections, unless your suppose to get detected. what im saying is it's buggy. If I shoot a guy w/ a suppressed rifle from 200 m away , after i shot I started moving away while keeping hidden, and his buddy finds his body, his buddy will immediately go to where i am currently located, its a hypothetical situtation/picture i was painting to try to explain what i mean by the stealth being " broken"

Never had any such problems with that I can recall. Normally they just run for the alarm box. Aside from that one guy on that turret I mentioned. I just start lining up the shot on the next guy if I think he's going to find the body. It's nice that you do actually have a chance to take a guy out before he gets to the alarm instead of MGS where a guy sees you and ALERT! everyone knows immediately where you are.

There is a gadget that lets you call in an All-Clear to the enemies and have them shut off the alarm for you if something goes wrong, so there are ways around it. I don't know how you can get through a game without detections and call the stealth "broken". Poorly designed, perhaps, but it apparently works.

He didn't say there weren't ways around it, he said it was broken. When an enemy instantly knows exactly where you are hiding after finding a body, it is by definition a broken stealth system.

^^^ he gets it. and its not just the enemies finding bodies thing, theres a lot of other things that make the stealth system , not so enjoyable. but still , a great story rpg , especially for the 4 $ i paid for it.

After leveling up my stealth a bit I didn't find it that bad. I imagine if I had also mastered tech aptitude for brilliance and wore all cooldown reducing upgrades for maximum shadow operative or whatever uptime I'd have even less complaints. The AI is broken but so are you, which isn't a game-ruiner for me (it never got old clearing out a room full of guys with neck punches). Definitely a flawed gem in pretty much every area though.

w/ the OP AS HELL abilities , ya there is a stealth function to the game , but without them stealth is >.>

Just finished the game and really enjoyed the witty banter and humor of the storyline. The only thing that annoyed me the whole game was the audio on the last mission.

Yeah, if you plan to do a decent amount of stealth on your first go then you really need to pump up your stealth ASAP and make sure it's one of your main skills when you get to pick them. You could manage without taking it as a main skill if all you want to do is get past the stealth "required" missions but it makes them so much less frustrating as you just have an easymode button to thin out the opposition without any risk of detection (but if you play on hard you will go down like a sack of potatoes if you screw up). It's just so much harder to stay undetected if you level up gadget/pistol/martial arts first, but thankfully being detected doesn't always mean an alarm is immediately triggered so this approach to stealth isn't completely invalidated, just much harder (though in some aspects it's easier).
