Using Widescreen Fixer i enabled the fov fix with a suitable setting. The trick with this
program is to not use "automatically detect resolution" but rather 3 display count with 2560x1080 in both fields. This is for single monitor setup and it works amazingly.
Also note using AF was ok but if combined with AA (forcing in the panel), it breaks the dialogue selection. Nvidia FXAA works fine and does not break anything. It really is night and day from the old cropped in view. NOTE: you will have to put up with smaller hud and the menu shifts to the right but all in all its better than cut off. And the aim retical is smaller.
