how do you find alice again after she runs away!!!!!

i picked 'love' route and had no bigger problems with getting insulin for her, complete all the quests and completed the game.
but now i cant find alice! it just says 'congrats! you won the game!
but i was going the 'love' route because i thought you could 'live happily ever after'
*yada, yada, yada*
i read somewhere that 'later on, joe and isham look for alice by leaveing the desert to get answer'
is this a quest? or did 'bob' (the dev)
simply not put in this yet (if ever)?
couse im kind of annoyed right now! i spent three months to complete this game and now alice is gone!
my expectations went from 100 to a somewhat 5-10 or so...........
am i missing something?

Clearly she was just using you for insulin. She didn't love you.

but no, seriously though im not sure its been awhile since i chose that ending. though i am fairly certain she is scripted to leave permanently.

She does tell you right after you choose it that "love stories have a way of not ending happily..."
