anyone else lose their save as soon as the game closes? I've tried three times to maually save the game and exit and when i open the game back up all i have is the new game option

can confirm, manual save worked, exited game, reopened game, loaded save, no issues, i wish we could upload screen recordings in this steam forum

i did fix the problem, my windows security was blocking the file from being saved. but lost my first couple of hours, i had to restart 3 time before i finally got it fixed

Just tested myself and all my saves are there just fine

What windows security did you turn of for it to work?

in windows security under the protection history, it was protected folder access that was blocked i just had to allow it

Had the same issue this morning, I can confirm that Windows blocked the save folder.

im on windows 11, go into your setting, then go to privacy and security. click on the windows security then open windows security. once you have that open you should see protection history go in there and it will be one of the " protected folder access blocked" you have to find the one for cubic odyssey and allow it. you should only have to do one of them
